We are here to help every individual feel safe, included and heard — Transforming DEI at WVU.

Insights showed that students and community members saw the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as a governing body that deals with policies and regulations. Our goal was to transform the Division into one that is welcoming, develops programming and brings people together.

Physically located off-campus, we also needed to bring attention to what the group does and where you can find them, hence the double meaning of “we are here.”
